2 Hour Computer Makeover
If you have a personal computer, you don’t need me to tell you that from the day you bought it, it’s been slowing down. This is an unfortunate side-effect of the fact that every time you switch your computer on, you are inevitably corrupting the registry that drives the operating system which quickly slows down the speed.
The very first day you turn your brand-new machine on, the registry is linear and therefore relatively straightforward and efficient. However, the first time you move the mouse or punch a key on the keyboard, you start to alter the registry in which everything you do on your computer is recorded.
Consequently, it is no surprise that over time, the operating system and underlying registry will become increasingly corrupted. Moreover, it doesn’t really matter what you do, everything including adding things like new software puts an additional burden on the system.
And the sad fact is, the only thing you can do to prevent this happening is to not use the computer at all, which would be a bit self-defeating, right?
On top of this, you have the ever present threat of computer viruses, spyware, Trojans and other malware. These are software programs that are either designed to cause damage to your machine (possibly ‘killing’ it completely) or to do something that is more harmful to you like spy on your online activities.
All in all, there are many ways that your computer security or effectiveness can be compromised meaning that it is essential to take preventative measures as soon as possible.
Fortunately, as I discovered when reading an excellent new e-book called ‘2 hour computer makeover‘, there are many things that you can do to fix existing problems whilst minimizing the risk of suffering the same difficulties in the future.
For example, although I was aware that there are registry repair software programs available for sale, I did not know that there are equally effective tools that are completely free. In a similar manner, even though I knew that there is free anti-virus software available, the fact that the book offers an unbiased review of three of the most commonly used antivirus software programs would make it far easier to choose the software that is most effective.
The beauty of ‘2 hour computer makeover‘ is that (following the title), it really does introduce you to all of the tools that are necessary to fix and protect your computer in a couple of hours or less. Furthermore, because it presents a comprehensive introduction to a range of free software resources that will enable you to do the job, it is a book that could save you not only a considerable amount of misery but also money as well.
The bottom line is, if your computer is running more slowly than it should do or if you suspect that you have malware problems of some description (perhaps a virus), you need to take remedial action as soon as possible.
In order to do so, ‘2 hour computer makeover‘ is it only guide to doing the job effectively, quickly and for free that you will ever need.
